On a personal note, I can speak very highly of the leadership at You Should Be Dancing...! and some of its staff. Nourhan Sharif is one of the finest belly dance instructors in the world and a very close friend of mine for 10 years. I've studied with tango instructor Dragan Ranitovic myself, and find him to be an extremely knowledgeable, dedicated and tough taskmaster. I'm a fan. Adam and Ciko (Tango Caf�) host one of the best parties in NYC - try to catch their workshops too, and Frankie Martinez, salsa instructor and founder of ABAKUA, is truly a legend in Latin dance. To put this in perspective, a 20-pack group class package at YSBD...! costs $315. We have a second deal available to you as well. For a limited time, you can purchase a private lesson 3-pack for $150, to study any style other than salsa. Once you purchase either or both packages, you have 6 months to activate them. You must take classes at your appropriate level (only), and you must not have been registered with YSBD...! for 3 months prior to your purchase.

All classes can be purchased in person at SI or through our online registration system -please see below for instructions. If you purchase a package as a gift, please email me directly as well so we can attribute the package to the correct client.

Please note: there is a limit of one group class package and one private lesson package per person.

January Schedule

We will have the full January schedule available for you shortly, but for the moment I can tell you what the SI staff will be teaching in January. You can also take a look at the YSBD...! December schedule (http://www.youshouldbedancing.net/) for a sense of all of the other classes that will be available to you. The existing YSBD...! salsa classes are held on Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri, Sat and Sun. Classes will begin on Monday 1/2.

SI instructor schedule:

Mon: Salsa Level II/III w/ Mike 9-10:30
Mon: Salsa Level IV w/ Ariel 9-10:30
Mon: Open Dance 10:30-11
The above will be the only 90-minute classes on the schedule, so if you want more bang for your buck, come out for these.
Tues: Salsa Level I w/ Gina 8-9
Tues: Salsa Level II w/ Gina 9-10
Wed: Cuban Salsa & Rueda Level I w/ Manu 8-9
Wed: Cuban Salsa & Rueda Level II w/ Evelyn 8-9
Wed: Cuban Salsa & Rueda Level III w/ Evelyn 9-10
Fri: Intro to Salsa, Bachata & Merengue w/ Jason 6:30-7:30
Fri: Salsa Level I w/ Jason 7:30-8:30

The levels will be comparable to what we teach now. However, a quick shout out to our *Basic students - in January, please come to Salsa Level I (and Intro on Fridays). These SI classes will have a second teacher in the room to separately bring you up to speed, as needed. We will still maintain our level of dedication to your strong foundation.

SI classes at DANY will cease on December 16^th at our year-end. We'd like you to spend as much of that time with us as you can. Most class packages will expire by then, but in the event that you have a package with a January expiration, and you cannot complete your classes in December, please contact me directly at admin@worldsalsa.net and we'll make appropriate arrangements on a case by case basis.
